This page contains a diverse set of content depicting both historical and current activities and information. It is intended to inform Guild members and provide an outlet for members to share content that would be relevant and of value to all members.

  • Catskill Book Archive – is a selection of more than 50 books listed by category that were selected by a team of Guild members to share with members looking to improve their knowledge of fly fishing the Catskills.
  • Favorite Rivers & Favorite Flies – is the 2nd edition of a compilation of Catskill rivers and the favorite patterns contributed by experienced Guild members dating back to 2011.
  • Catskill Streamers – is an initial compilation of Catskill streamer flies compiled to share with the membership and others who are interested in knowing more about certain aspects of the history of Catskill streamer flies. The hope is that we can add to this list over time; i.e., make it a living document as we learn more about Catskill streamers.
  • Atlantic Salmon Flies – is a presentation given by Paul Dolbec at a June 2017 Guild meeting. The presentation was designed to illustrate and discuss the different “styles” of salmon flies used primarily in North America; however, many are used in salmon rivers across the world.
  • Gaspe – Atlantic Salmon Flies – is a handout developed by Paul Dolbec for the International Fly Tyers Symposium in November of 2021. The flies are representative of the patterns used on the many salmon rivers on Quebec’s Gaspe peninsula. The fly designers are French Canadian salmon anglers who consider these must-have patterns for their great rivers.
