Please come to the guild’s second Winter Tying session on Thursday, December 5, starting at 7:00 pm.
We had a great first meeting with 61 members participating in the presentation of Mike Valla’s Wemoc Adams fly, as demonstrated by guild vice president, John Apgar. Many thanks go to Mike Valla for donating a Wemoc Adams that he tied, as well as a signed copy of his Classic Fly Box. Two lucky guild members in attendance received those items.
For this upcoming session, we’ll be tying adult caddis patterns. We’re asking everyone to tie their favorite adult caddis, and then shares what it is with the group. We’re all bound to get some great new ideas for a fly that’s useful through much of the season. This excellent idea was proposed at our last session by guild member John Capowski, and we’ll continue to be looking for member support in the choice of patterns to tie, with more members taking the lead to demonstrate those patterns.
Zoom links to attend this session will be emailed to all guild members on December 3.
We’re looking forward to seeing you on December 5. Let’s get tying!!!
