The guild’s first Winter Tying session is Thursday, November 21, starting at 7:00 pm. Vice President John Apgar will lead the tying with a Wemoc Adams, a pattern by guild member Mike Valla. We’ll tie this in honor of Mike’s recent induction into the Catskills Fly Fishing Hall of Fame.

A discussion will follow of how we’ll approach this winter’s weekly online tying meetings. We’ll be looking for member support in the choice of patterns to tie, and more members taking the lead to demonstrate those patterns. Winter Tying was well attended last winter, and we’re looking forward to this season being even better.

Members will see and invitation with a Zoom link and materials for the fly pattern in their emails.
